Amar and Ram
Amar Seepersad is the founder and Artistic director of The Tabla House. The Tabla House has taken Tabla to the forefront with their fusion drumming ensemble. Amar studies with the great tabla maestro Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri. Apart from accompanying many of the Ghazal singers Amar also performs for Sitar and Kathak dances.
Amar has accompanied Ram on his album "Sitar by the Ocean" - a relaxation music CD.
Amar is also a teacher at the Tabla House.

Ram Vakkalanka is a Sitar artist originally from India, now based in Toronto, Canada. A mainstay of the bustling Toronto Indian classical music scene, Ram traces his musical lineage to the world-renowned Sitar Maestro Ravi Shankar. As an experienced Sitar artist, Ram is equally at ease presenting the Indian classical
Ragas in their pristine purity or playing Fusion music with his band Lightsweetcrude or experimenting with various Jazz artists such as Kiran Singh.
Ram has an album "Sitar by the Ocean" - a relaxation music CD based on Indian classical Ragas - to his credit and is currently working on his second album.
Ram is an exception teacher of Sitar and looks at teaching as a way to paying back to the society.
