Asis Sethi
The petite Sardarni on Chardi Kalaa...Asis Sethi has always been in the entertainment industry...smiling and making others smile. A positive, energetic personality on television, Asis started her career as a reporter on Chardi Kalaa. She soon joined OMNI News – South Asian Edition, Badhai Ho and Bollywood Boulevard on OMNI Television as a Reporter. Asis currently hosts Chardi Kalaa, Tuned-In with Asis Sethi and is the guest host for Badhai Ho! Recently, Asis made her acting debut with a stage play based on female feticide titled "Sirjana" where she plays the lead role.
While working at OMNI, Asis continued her studies in Film & Television Production at Humber College, where she graduated from with honours. She is also the Art Director and Marketing Executive for Bollywood Film-Fare Canada, a glossy bollywood magazine based in Toronto.
Asis has directed, written, and produced many independent projects including a short film titled The Unforgotten. Asis has also directed and written The Colourful Crown, a documentary film based on the turban which was screened at film festivals and aired on OMNI Television.
