Shiamak Toronto Dance Team

SHIAMAK: Artistic Director of India's premier dance institute, Shiamak Davar embarked on a journey twenty years back to spread the joy of dance. Shiamak Davar International (SDI), through its motto 'Have Feet. Will Dance', reaffirms his belief that anybody can dance.

Healing through the performing arts, his classes are open to all age groups, four to eighty four years; without any discrimination. Shiamak has nurtured SDI into becoming one of the largest dance schools in the world, reaching out to over 70,000 dance enthusiasts annually across India, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and soon within the United States. Within Canada, he has locations both in Vancouver and Toronto, with ten locations across the GTA area itself.

Choreographer for memorable films like Dil To Pagal Hai Taal, Kisna, Bunty Aur Babli, Dhoom 2, I See You, Taare Zameen Par, Yuvvraaj, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and events like IIFA, Filmfare, TOIFA Zee Cine and Star Parivaar awards, Shiamak has given bollywood and the world a fusion of style that has people screaming for more. Currently the best as well as the biggest bollywood contemporary dance school in Canada, Shiamak Davar personally designs the program for Mosaic Festival bringing novel performances and ideas to enthrall the audience.

As a long standing tradition of the Mosaic festival, the SHIAMAK Toronto Dance Team ends the festivities on a high note year after year. They will be performing on Saturday, 16th of August at the Main Stage.
