Anu Vittal
Festival Director
Anu Vittal is an entrepreneur, visual artist and active community leader. CEO of AVittal Consulting, A certified ISO - 9001 Auditor and Six Sigma specialist, she is owner of Artscape Anua in Mississauga. Recipient of the Top 25 Can Immigrant Award, she serves as President of the M AS, director at Artsmarketing Services, PfC programs, Access Employment and Sampradaya Dance Creation.
R. Kamdar
Vendors Co-ordinator
R. Kamdar is senior community activist and sales coordinator for many events in and around GTA. One of the founding members of Mosaic team, he is responsible for vendor's booth sales, allocation and management for the festival.
Sumit Ahuja
Programming Director (Mainstage)
Sumit Ahuja, a Professional in the field of Event management & P.R. Founder of MediaWorks!! - Sumit Ahuja is exuberant, passionate and dedicated to her work. Her past work experience with Wizcraft entertainment has added to her strengths and Sumit's hat is adorned with many feathers. Sumit also carries a special regard in her heart for senior members of our society and aspires to one-day make a meaningful difference in their lives. She serves as a Council member of United Way of peel. Mosaic Festival is closest to her heart among all her projects as Sumit is one of the pioneering members of the team and has been part of the mosaic family since the very first year of the festival.
Trupal Goswami
Volunteer Co-ordniator
Trupal Goswami is a huge 'Leafs' fan, Trupal is currently studying chemistry at York University. He joined the mosaic team as a volunteer in 2007 and worked his way up to become the volunteer coordinator for the festival. He has helped develop an enviable team of volunteers that have served as the backbone of the festival training to become the next leaders of the festival.
Dhruv Naik
Assistant Volunteer Coordinator
Dhruv Naik joined the MOSAIC family in 2008 as a volunteer and is recently appointed Assistant to the Volunteer Coordinator. Currently studying Hotel Management, Dhruv loves dancing and works as dance instructor and chorographer for Jadoo Entertainment Mississauga.
Ryan Tobin
RTC Festival Director
Ryan Tobin aims to take Rock the Coliseum to the next level as an independent music festival in 2014 and beyond. Ryan is a professional marketing, public relations and programming specialist and has worked within arts and culture in the G.T.A. as Executive Producer for the Beating Heart Festival, Marketing Manager for Inside Mississauga Magazine, Music Coordinator for the WORD project, and currently works with Mississauga Symphony in marketing and outreach.
Farrell Tremblay
Assistant Coordinator for RTC
Farrell Tremblay assists the RTC festival Director in programming, marketing and backstage production for the Festival. He has served as RTC coordinator since 2012.
Rahim Jetha
Festival Hospitality Coordinator
Rahim Jetha is an active member of art and cultural communities in Toronto. He was also the past programmer for Desi's Rock segment of the Festival. Rahim works as Hospitality coordinator and makes sure that overseas artist find Mosaic Festival home away from home.
Paresh Khatri
Festival Webmaster
Paresh Khatri is a Bachelor in Computer Science and a graduate of Laurentian University, currently working as Senior consultant at local IT company and working towards SAP and PMP certification. Paresh supports Mosaic team with all web content development and management.
Hunain Amir
Volunteer Supervisor
Hunain Amir graduated from Father Michael Goetz secondary school in 2013. He loves to play video games and read books. Hunain joined the Mosaic team in 2010 and has been working in the supervisor position since 2013.
Ashwin Iyer
Volunteer Supervisor
Ashwin Iyer is a basketball enthusiast and is currently studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto. He joined the Mosaic team in 2008 as a high school student volunteer and was recently appointed the role of Volunteer Supervisor.
Malhar Patil
Intern Supervisor
Malhar Patil currently studies Aviation Technology at Seneca College. He has a passion for flying and loves to try new things! Malhar has been with the festival for 3 years and is currently an Intern Supervisor.
Pranay Ranjan
Volunteer Supervisor
Pranay Ranjan is a 2nd year engineering student at the University of Waterloo, currently working in the IT department at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). He has been with Mosaic for 4 years and is supervising the food and market vendors this year. Pranay is excited for another extraordinary year at Mosaic! He loves to play sports and is a big fan of the NFL.
Sana A. Arshad
Administrative Coordinator
Sana A. Arshad is a PR specialist, with events and marketing experience in non-profit sector. She has interned at the highly-prestigious The Walrus magazine, and actively volunteers for Newcomer Centres which help settle new Canadian immigrants. With an unrivalled sweet tooth, Sana also runs a custom cake business Cuppycake Sisters on the side.Sana has joined CCAI office as administration coordinator.
Jonathan & Rebecca Macias
Official Festival Photographer
Jonathan & Rebecca Macias are GTA photographers capturing events, weddings and everything under the sun in the 416/905/519 area. Lachman Balani
Media Guru
Lachman Balani is a global citizen who has studied and worked in several countries. Fluent in 5 international languages, an ardent lover of theatre, dance and music, supports artistic community as a writer and a freelance journalist. He has dabbled in acting in theatre as well in many productions of Paul Bowles and the inimitable French designer Yves Saint Laurent. Lachman supports the festival with his marketing and outreach savvy and writes the best facebook taglines!!
Azmat Saad is a passionate volunteer who believes that Photography is a fantastic story-telling medium and as such uses her skills to document various events in and around town. You will find her with her beloved camera around the festival and other events and cheering the loudest for her favourite artists as well.
Ilmana Fasih
Festival Blogger
Ilmana Fasih is a Canadian of an Indian origin married to a Pakistani with an attitude of a world citizen. She advocates indo Pakistan peace as a keen observer of literary movements of IndoPak. She is a medical doctor from India and currently works with United Way of Peel.
