Celia Vankeisbelck "Taala Dance"

A classically trained dancer of Bharatanatyam; Taala choreographs many forms of Bollywood dancing. Her fascination with classic dance is based on Bollywood films like Devdas that have enamoured her with rich Indian music, glamorous costume and traditional dance. She joined the Sohini Moksha troupe, after learning Bharatanatyam with Sohini Roychwodhury in Spain and India. In 2010, Taala went to Colombia, where she created the group "Ritmos de los India". She found her own fusion style of mixing Bollywood with Bharatanatyam. They also danced at the world premiere of Slumdog Millionaire in Madrid, in front of Danny Boyle. Now she is currently living in Montreal where she shares her passion in various events and festivals in North America.

Taala will perform at TD Mosaic Festival in the evening of Saturday 16th of August under the stars.
