Mosaic Emerging Filmmaker

Every year Mosaic sponsors a filmmaker and helps them with completion funds. This year we are proud to present filmmaker Sami Khan who has already presented films at prestigious festivals around the world. Two of his films screened at MISAFF 2012.

Bio of the Filmmaker




Sami Khan's feature film debut KHOYA, was recently selected for Tribeca All Access (2013). His work has screened at international film festivals around the globe including: the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the Nantucket Film Festival, and the Ischia Film Festival in Sardinia. He graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in film where his thesis film 75 EL CAMINO won faculty honors and premiered at TIFF. His short, THE WORKOUT also premiered at TIFF. Most recently Khan was selected to participate in the Berlinale's Talent Campus 2013.
